Jaycob Matias is a dedicated high school senior athlete excelling in baseball and martial arts. With a black belt in karate and years of competitive baseball experience, he has developed exceptional discipline, leadership, and athletic prowess. Jaycob is actively pursuing college scholarship opportunities to continue his athletic career at the next level.

Jaycob Matias began his martial arts journey in 2014 at the age of seven.

He earned his 1st Degree Black Belt in April 2018, his 2nd Degree Black Belt in October 2020, and his 3rd Degree Black Belt, along with his 1st Degree Black Belt in Kobudo in April 2022. He later achieved his 4th Degree Black Belt and earned his Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ).

In 2022, Jaycob was promoted to a MATI Clubs staff member, and in October 2025, he advanced to the Certified Instructor level.

He currently attends Northwest Cabarrus High School, where he plays baseball for the Trojans as an outfield player. He also plays outfield for the Carolina Bulldogs travel baseball team.
